Bio

Angie Casares, singer and songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She began her musical career professionally recording vocals as a sessionist for advertising and functional music production companies, soundalikes and cover versions of all kinds of genres and styles.

Simultaneously to studying two years of Musical Composition at the Catholic University of Argentina and 4 years of Bachelor of Music Therapy, she began to make live productions in national and international music shows and television, participating in singing competitions having very good feedback.

In 2013 she delves into vocal recording focused and specialized in versions of songs in different styles, such as Vintage Reggae Café, Cooltrane Quartet, and recording, composition of melody and lyrics for national and international commercials.

In 2012 she began her career as a composer and general producer of her own music projects in different formats, releasing her solo album “Infinito” and creating with Ariel Colla, Aymará, a band of reggae music and Latin American rhythms and mixed with folk, pop and rock.

She was a vocalist and backing vocalist in television programs and was able to work with great Argentine artists such as: Fabiana Cantilo, Patricia Sosa, Coti, Pipo Cipolatti, Nahuel Penissi, among others. She has also worked with international artists, such as Cristian Castro, as a backing vocalist in live shows.
